Overview

The BlackMoon is an ultra-low power sub-1 GHz LPWAN transmission module. It pairs the STM32L0 ultra-low-power MCU with the S2-LP high-performance RF transceiver for sub-GHz communication.

Ideal for Sigfox networks and IEEE 802.15.4g mesh deployments requiring long range and minimal power.

Development

Develop firmware using the comprehensive STM32Cube toolchain from STMicroelectronics, including STM32CubeIDE, STM32CubeMX code generator, and the STM32L0 firmware libraries.

For rapid prototyping, pair with the BlackMoon MKR evaluation board in Arduino MKR form factor.
