Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive, because they are essential to provide the service the user explicitly requested.

5. Local storage

We also use the browser's localStorage to remember your selected language (blackiot_lang). This is a strictly necessary, first-party technical storage item. No personal data is stored.

6. What we do not use

• No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible, or similar).
• No advertising, remarketing, or behavioral tracking cookies.
• No third-party social media widgets that set cookies.
• No embedded video / fonts / scripts from third-party services that set cookies. Fonts are self-hosted.
• No device fingerprinting or equivalent techniques.

7. Managing cookies

Because our only cookie is strictly necessary, there is no consent banner toggle for analytics or advertising — there is nothing optional to disable. You can, at any time, clear blackiot_consent and blackiot_lang from your browser's storage settings; the cookie notice will simply reappear and your language will reset to the browser default.

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may degrade site functionality (the cookie notice will reappear on every page load).

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce new cookies or add features that rely on third-party cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, request your prior opt-in consent through a cookie consent manager.
